High Speed Compatible 300mm/s
With high speed 3D printing becoming more prominent due to the introduction of high speed 3D printers, FormFutura is excited to introduce a range of new and existing upgraded materials to our assortment. These materials, while still suitable for traditional printers, have also been fully optimized for the new high speed 3D printing technology.
Premium PLA is a high-end general purpose Poly-Lactic Acid type of 3D printer filament. Premium PLA is less modified than other PLA’s, resulting in an extremely pure filament.
Premium PLA is a slightly harder PLA with an excellent thermal stability. I has a slightly faster crystallization process than other PLA’s. Therefore it is often used for fast printing and large(r) scale prototyping on industrial-sized 3D printers.
Unique features
- Very easy to print
- Warp-free printing and no deformation after cooling
- Improved flowing behaviour and inter-layer adhesion
- Good first layer adhesion to several (un)heated print surfaces
- Almost odourless processing/printing
- Biodegradable
- Available in a variety of semi-translucent colors and opaque black/white
General printing guidelines *
Nozzle size: ≥ 0.15mm | Layer height: ≥ 0.1mm | Flow rate: ± 100% |
Print temp: ± 185 – 210° C | Print speed: Medium | Retraction: Yes ± 5mm |
Heat bed: ± 50 – 60° C | Fan speed: 80-100% | Experience level: Beginner |
*) Above displayed settings are meant as guidance to find your optimal print settings. These ranges in settings should work for most printers, but please do feel free to experiment outside these ranges if you think it is suitable for your printer. There are a lot of different type of printers, hot-ends and printer offsets that it is extremely difficult to give an overall one-size-fits-all setting.
*)When using high speed printing, the above displayed settings will likely need to be adjusted accordingly.
